Placemaking streetscape for Noosa Junction's town centre — widened paved footpaths, palms and street trees, a sculptural clock and wayfinding feature, and a pedestrian crossing outside the Noosa 5 Cinemas.
Stage 2 of the Noosa Junction Placemaking Project reworks the public realm at the heart of the town centre, giving pedestrians more room and a stronger sense of arrival along the shopfronts.
The photographs record generous paved footpaths with banded edges, palms and shade trees, and a sculptural clock and wayfinding feature outside the Noosa 5 Cinemas. A defined pedestrian crossing links both sides of the street.
The new streetscape works as an everyday street and as an event space — the images show it hosting a red-carpet cinema opening, with the paved forecourt carrying the crowd comfortably.
